Role Description/Criteria

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the full-time position of Classroom Teacher to commence in January 2025.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

The successful applicant will be well versed in contemporary teaching pedagogies and proficient in the analysis and use of data to inform their teaching. They will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities and be able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment. They will be able to contribute to and enact the School’s Improvement Plan.

This position would be suitable for a teacher beginning or growing their career, as OLOL provides an experienced team with which to work.

Special Requirements:

The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.

Accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (willing to study for accreditation)

Committed to the use and analysis of data to inform teaching

Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of contemporary learning pedagogies

Able to show a thorough understanding of differentiated and personalised learning
