Junior Lord Mayor Chloe AmalfiMelbourne’s newest Junior Lord Mayor officially takes on her role today to coincide with Melbourne Day.

 

Grade 6 student Chloe Amalfi from , Kew, impressed the judges, included Lord Mayor Sally Capp and Nine News presenter Peter Hitchener, to claim the title. Chloe follows in the footsteps of a long line of students from Melbourne’s Catholic schools to take on the role of Junior Lord Mayor.

 

Chloe has quite a few ideas on how to make Melbourne an even better city, including turning unused buildings into homes for the homeless.
