Images of students with their artwork.Catholic Education Week’s Visual Arts Exhibition was once again an outstanding display of the creativity and talent of the students in our schools.

Over 1000 visitors enjoyed more than 365 works on display at the Catholic Leadership Centre, each one a credit not only to the young artist but to their teachers and schools alike. While all the contributors are to be congratulated for being selected for the exhibition, a special congratulations goes to those students whose excellence was recognised by the judges:

  • Australian Catholic University Social Justice Award (Primary) – And God Created Earth – Celeste Yamouni, Year 1, , Greythorn.
  • Australian Catholic University Award for Social Justice (Secondary) – Underrepresented – Solida Sieng, Year 12, , Hughesdale.
  • Catholic Education Week Year 12 Award – Ocean Oasis – Pat McCormick, Year 12, , Bulleen.
  • Executive Director’s Acquisition Award – Sr Madeleine RNDM – Madeleine Sloan, Year 12, , Hughesdale.
