Role Description/Criteria
We are looking for a classroom teacher, level TBC to commence in 2025. This is a 12-month full time, or possible 0.8 FTE, teaching position which has a very strong potential to be extended into an ongoing position.
The successful applicant will work alongside a team of passionate educators in a culture that values collaboration and shared success. They will have a knowledge and understanding of the Science of Learning and explicit instruction or a willingness  to develop in this area and be able to differentiated the curriculum to the needs of all students. The safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care will be their highest priority.
Applicants require:
- a passion for teaching
- an ability to be an enthusiastic and committed team member
- an ability to show an understanding or a commitment to learning the cognitive science models needed to teach literacy and mathematics
- an understanding and practical implementation of the use of data to inform teaching and learning
- the ability to show differentiation in teaching to accommodate a range of abilities
- an ability to motivate and engage students in purposeful learning situations
- an understanding of Victorian Curriculum and current curriculum initiatives
- a willingness to actively participate in the school's coaching and mentoring processes

- have appropriate registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching; and
- either have, be undertaking, or intend to undertake accreditation to teach Religious Education.
